Abstract
This study figured out a relationship between job training and organizational commitment in new dental hygienists through carrying out a questionnaire survey targeting 301 dental hygienists. It closely examined a relationship among job-related characteristics, training satisfaction, task application, and organizational commitment, and verified the qualitative factor & system factor in training, and the effect of a help for the task application after training on organizational commitment. New dental hygienists with less than 1 year had high training satisfaction and were significantly high in the task application level after training and in the organizational commitment. The system factor in training and the help for task application after training were indicated to have influence upon affective commitment in organizational commitment. As a result of this study, the job training was clarified to be a factor of being helpful for organizational commitment in dental hygienists. There is a significance in having arranged basic data so that an in-depth research can be implemented henceforth.
